Film undergraduate at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina and a cinematography enthusiast from the south of Brazil.
As a volunteer in the Cinematography Laboratory, I got into my first projects as part of the cinematography crew and learned the right way to manage the equipment provided by my institution. Since then, I have been getting involved in productions where I can be part of the camera crew.
I'm also passionate about photography — both analogue and digital — and keen on experimenting with different techniques. As a personal project, I document my daily life and turn the footage into cinematic videos.
Cinematography for “Imprensa Mahon”, a Brazilian channel sharing film-industry content. I was part of a team capturing short videos during the Festival Audiovisual Mercosul (FAM) with professionals already working in the industry.
In collaboration with the Cinematography Laboratory at my university, I was director of photography on three short videos — exercises dedicated to practising different aspects of the role and leadership on set, from conceptualisation, organisation and planning to camera operating.
Large format analogue photography, film development, darkroom printing and enlarging, plus cyanotype. Work that began in a module at my home university and grew into a project of its own.
